VALIANT HONOR broke a half-step slowly and was hustled for the early lead, assumed command and set a decent pace along the backstretch, kicked clear into the turn then drew off nearing the quarter marker, was kept to task under steady urging into the stretch, was geared down in the final sixteenth and won as much the best. CAWAMA rated off of the decent early pace, saved ground into the turn and was well placed nearing the quarter marker, shifted to the two path to upper stretch, was no match for the winner into the stretch drive but stayed on into the final furlong to be a clear second best. MARIO'S SWEET GIRL chased the early pace from between rivals, ran in pursuit three wide into the turn, could not match strides with the top pair into the stretch and was clear in the end for third. BEE N DEE well placed in the early going, lost position three wide into the turn, swung four wide to upper stretch and passed tiring rivals late. CHAMPAGNE MELODY rated off of the early pace, ran in pursuit four wide into the turn, spun five wide to upper stretch and improved position in the lane. MOONBEAMICECREAM chased the early pace from the inside, ran in pursuit of VALIANT HONOR from the two path heading into the turn, could not keep pace with that rival nearing the quarter marker, ran on into the stretch then gave way at the furlong grounds. AUNT JOSSY was away awkwardly from the start and spotted the field to begin, lacked early speed and trailed to the turn, saved ground to the quarter marker and did not factor in the stretch drive. ONE MOMENT was forwardly placed in the early running, chased the pace outside of rivals up the backstretch, guided five to six wide into the turn, stopped into upper stretch, was eased through the lane and walked off.
