TURCA settled off the pace, shifted inwards around the half-mile marker attempting to save ground before the turn and brushed with THEGOVERNER'SWIFE while doing so, continued under a heavy hand ride through the far turn five wide and entered the stretch in a prominent position, kept on down the lane to pick of the remaining runners just in time. CORALLINE left the gate swiftly claiming early command, crossed inward towards the two path before the far turn, began to open up a bit around the quarter kept on down the lane but got nailed at the wire by outer rival. SOUTHERN KISS shadowed the early pace setter along the inside, was a bit keen entering the far turn but quickly leveled out, continued to give chase but lost headway inside the final sixteenth. THEGOVERNOR'SWIFE settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, looked to angle out around the half-mile marker but brushed with TURCA while doing so, proceeded to drive four wide through the far turn, continued her drive along the outside of the stretch to make some late improvements. CHILLING found a forward position five wide in the early stages, crossed inward inside the half while not yet fully clear of ORSIRIS WHISPER, continued four wide through the turn meeting her cue at the three-eighths but was unable to maintain her position and flattened out in the stretch. OSIRIS TIME settled off the pace along the inside, shifted out four wide rounding the far turn, ran on to make some minor improvements. OSIRIS WHISPER was forwardly placed four wide between runners travelling up the backstretch, got checked bay by CHILLING inside the half-mile marker, tried to muster a run through the turn after losing position but was unable to regain any lost ground. SILVER MAGIC found forward position three wide for the run up the backstretch, received some shoulder taps through the turn, weakened along her left lead shortly after entering the stretch. BEVS JEWEL broke slowly, trailed for most, passed tiring for at the wire. BUTTERKNIFE was rated along the inside, lacked a response to the rider's encouragement rounding the far turn, retreated in the stretch. RIDER'S OBJECTION LODGED BY THEGOVERNOR'SWIFE ON TURCA CLAIMING INTERFERENCE AT THE HALF-MILE MARKER RESULTED IN NO CHANGE.
