MY MOM FOREVER vied for the early lead along the inside for a brief period before opting to give way to WORDSOFINSPIRIATION, chased that runner along the inside up the backstretch and most of the far turn, shifted out two wide nearing the quarter-pole and ranged up to challenge the pace, commandeered the lead at the three-eighths pole, fought on down the lane while drifting out to secure the victory. TACITAP was comfortably rated along the inside, met his cue at the five-sixteenths and shifted out four wide turning for home, clawed away at the leading margin but was held off by the winner. HOLY COW settled off the pace in the early stages, came under a heavy hand ride around the seven-sixteenths to begin closing along the inside, shifted out two wide for the final furlong and kept on to earn a clear show. WORDSOFINSPIRATION split foes shortly after the start to take charge, continued as the clear leader through the turn before coming under pressure by MY MOM FOREVER inside the quarter, tried fighting back but had no more left to give and tired in the final furlong. DICEY BOY broke on top and led briefly before relinquishing command to WORDSOFINSPIRIATION, gave chase two wide up the backstretch, was roused about the three-eighths and swung to the outside turning for home and weakened down the lane. FAR RIGHT lacked early kick, trailed for most, passed tiring foe in the stretch. REPROCHE was rated four wide in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, backed off soon after entering the turn and began nudging along through the two path but failed to menace.
