Footnotes
KING MANOLETE brushed the outside of the gate at the start and was pinched back shortly after to be off the pace in the early stages, quickly rushed up along the inside to shadow the pace nearing the half-mile pole, attempted pass along the rail through the turn but was shut off and forced to reposition three wide at the five-sixteenths, met his cue at the quarter and was in front at the top of the lane, kept on task to cement his victory. TOMMY'S MIRACLE broke well with MISCHIEF HOLIDAY but opted to shadow the pace in the early stages, shifted in entering the turn and contested the lead two wide, overtook that initial leader nearing the quarter-pole while being met with a bid from KING MANOLETE, gave way to that one at the top of the stretch and chased on along his left lead. SHINING hit the inside of the gate at the start, continued off the pace four wide while a bit keen up the backstretch, made some headway down the stretch but was no match for the top two. NIMBLE JACK was rated three wide not too far behind the pace, began nudging along inside the half-mile pole, before entering an all out drive around the quarter, but was unable to muster a rally. HIDDEN DANGER settled around the middle of the pack along the inside before approaching the turn, shifted three wide at the top of the lane but could not rally. GREAT CHIEF settled back to trail shortly after the start, passed tired foes along the rail inside the final quarter. MISCHIEF HOLIDAY broke well and took charge shortly after in the two path, settled along the inside of the turn before being challenged by TOMMY'S MIRACLE at the three-eighths, relinquished command nearing the quarter pole and faded down the lane. EL REY DE ORO broke slowly, raced off the pace, never factored.
