ZEALOT tracked the pace three wide in the early stages, was nudged along through the far turn to begin pressing the pace around the five-sixteenths, bid for command at the top of the lane and quickly opened up, was in had for the final yards. LOLA'S ROMANCE pressed the early pace setter two wide up the backstretch, launched a bid inside the seven-sixteenths to commandeer the lead, continued under pressure from both sides through the far turn and began asking at the quarter, gave way to ZEALOT at the top of the lane and was no match. SWEET DREAM LADY emerged as the early leader shortly after the start, continued under pressure from LOLA'S ROMANCE until relinquishing command inside the seven-sixteenths, pressed on through the far turn but began tiring shortly after entering the stretch. EVANORA gave chase along the inside, came under a loose rein through far turn and entered a drive nearing the five-sixteenths but lacked the response needed. ELLAGIO broke a bit outward, trailed throughout, no factor.
