Footnotes
MILITIA raced close up to the early pace while between rivals, went up and pressed the pace into the turn, took command nearing the quarter marker and led to upper stretch, kept to task into the final furlong, held foes at bay to the final sixteenth then drew clear in deep stretch. VOLATILED rated off of the decent early pace, advanced two to three wide and between rivals into the turn, chased MILITIA into the stretch, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth and was a clear second best. FOGGY NOTE bobbled at the start but was away in good order, took back off of the early pace and tracked six wide heading to the turn, mounted a four wide bid nearing the quarter marker, could not match strides with the leading pair into the stretch but ran on late and held for third. GIRVIN STAR sent to take early command, set a decent pace up the backstretch, was pressured into the turn by MILITIA then overtaken by that rival nearing the quarter pole, gave chase to upper stretch then faded in the final furlong. VIVI GET YOUR GUNS broke a bit slowly, lacked early speed and trailed to the turn, coaxed two to three wide to upper stretch then passed tiring rivals in the final stages. ROYAL POPPY chased the early pace from between rivals, ran in pursuit five then four wide into the turn, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and weakened in the drive. WHATINTHELITERAL chased the early pace from between rivals, ran in pursuit four wide along the backstretch, was shuffled back approaching the turn, coaxed five wide to upper stretch, could not find more into the drive and gave way. PRINCESS BRITNI was forwardly placed in the early stages while inside of rivals, saved ground into the turn and tracked the decent pace to the quarter marker, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and tired in the drive. LAILA BELLA GIRL raced close up to the early pace while between runners, got jostled and pinballed between rivals approaching the turn, could not keep pace with the leaders heading to the quarter marker and came up empty in the stretch.
