Footnotes
BRAWN broke alertly and took early command, set the pace into the first turn then set a moderate pace along the backstretch, showed the way to the far turn, kicked clear into the stretch and kept to task to the sixteenth-marker, felt pressure into deep stretch and held in a drive for the win. LIGHTS OF BROADWAY caught a bit in tight and five wide into the first turn, settled into the backstretch run, roused five wide into the far turn, rallied into the stretch then closed fast into the final sixteenth, could not reel in BRAWN in deep stretch but got up in time to earn the place. NATE THE GREAT was prominent while four wide into the first turn, stalked the decent pace three deep up the backstretch, chased BRAWN into the far turn then was repelled to upper stretch, re-bid into the final sixteenth, was outkicked late for second and held safely for third. SIGAN VIENDO stalked the early pace three deep and between rivals, was well placed to the backstretch run, tracked two wide to the half-mile pole then chased from the inside into the far turn, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch and could not muster a final response. JUNCTION ROAD a bit keen while three to four wide and between rivals into the first turn, settled into the backstretch run, chased three wide to the quarter marker, spun four wide for the stretch drive and lacked the needed late response. DREAM DANCER was forwardly placed on the run to the first turn, took back into the backstretch and saved ground approaching the half-mile marker, got caught in traffic into the second turn, found a small seam into the stretch but could not muster the needed late response and finished evenly. SHRUG caught six to seven wide into the first turn, settled into the backstretch and raced widest to the half-mile marker, chased four wide heading to the quarter pole, angled in into upper stretch and could not produce a late response. INDECISIVENESS rated just off of the early leaders, settled in the two path along the backstretch while not far back, steadied in traffic midway through the far turn, trailed to upper stretch and weakened in the late stages.
