Footnotes
LACE UP was forwardly placed in the early running, contested the pace between rivals along the backstretch, dueled two to three wide into the turn then shook free to upper stretch, drew off under urging into the final furlong and coasted while in hand in the late stages. MR SCATTER was unhurried in the early going, asked for run four wide to upper stretch, closed well late but could not impact the winner in deep stretch and was second best. PET MAT tracked the early pace from the second flight, was well placed while two wide nearing the quarter marker, outkicked into the stretch, ran on into the final sixteenth and was a clear third. MAJOR KING allowed to settle early on while never far back, chased four to five wide into the turn, shifted to the three path to upper stretch, ran in pursuit to the furlong marker and lacked the needed late response. LUNI SIMA broke slowly, rushed up in the early stages and chased between rivals along the backstretch, ran in pursuit three wide nearing the quarter marker, drifted to the five path to upper stretch, could not keep pace heading to the furlong grounds and weakened. SILENT AND VIOLENT allowed to settle leaving the start, coaxed two to three wide to the quarter marker, could not muster the needed response in the stretch drive. LEE ANN'S WARRIOR disputed the early pace from the inside, dueled inside of LACE UP into the turn, lost position at the quarter marker, could not find more into the stretch and faded in the drive. CLUBHOUSE broke alertly and was sent for the early lead, contested the pace three deep along the backstretch, pressed three to four wide into the turn, was repelled into upper stretch and tired in the lane.
