Footnotes
RAGING FURY was away in good order, stalked the early pace three deep along the backstretch, was given his cue into the turn and loomed three wide nearing the quarter marker, battled ADIOS NOW into the stretch, dueled that game rival past mid-stretch, repelled the runner-up into the final sixteenth and edged clear in the late stages. ADIOS NOW hustled for the early lead, showed good speed away from the start and set a pressured pace up the backstretch, carved out solid fractions while pressed into the turn, vied for the lead between foes to upper stretch, gamely met the bid of RAGING FURY into the final furlong, was repelled by the winner into the final sixteenth and was a clear second best. SOUND OF THE BEAST settled off of the solid early pace, roused three to four wide nearing the quarter pole, ran in pursuit to the furlong marker, made a mild late rally and held well for third at the wire. MIAMI FRANK settled off of the contested early pace while not far back, saved ground into the turn, advanced along the rail to upper stretch, altered course behind a tiring rival into the final sixteenth, was outkicked late and just missed for third at the wire. CAJUN'S COOKIN got squeezed leaving the start and was off a bit slowly, lacked early speed and trailed to the turn, coaxed from the two path to upper stretch, needed more in the drive and passed tiring rivals late. VALUED CAJUN chased the early pace from outside of rivals, ran in pursuit three then two wide into the turn, could not find the needed response to upper stretch and gave way in the final furlong. ETENDRE went up to press the early pace from the inside, disputed the solid pace from the rail heading into the turn, was outkicked to mid-stretch then weakened in the final stages.
