Footnotes
RISK FACTOR close up to the early pace, stalked two wide to the backstretch, vied for the lead at the half-mile marker then dueled TIGRE into the far turn, shook free of that rival to upper stretch, kept to task into the final furlong and held sway in the late stages. TIGRE rated in the second flight to begin, tracked two to three wide to the backstretch then made a middle move to vie for the lead at the half-mile pole, dueled RISK FACTOR into the far turn, was repelled into upper stretch, fought on into the final sixteenth and earned the place honors. SIX FORTYFIVE broke alertly and assumed early command, set the pace to the first turn, led into the backstretch then ceded the front nearing the half-mile pole, stalked the leaders three wide into the far turn and ran in pursuit to upper stretch, could not muster a final response and was outfinished late for the place. ETON was forwardly placed away from the start, tucked in and tracked the early pace from the inside, was well placed while saving ground to the far turn, gave chase into the stretch and did not rally late. THE GREAT OSCAR hopped at the start and was off slowly, allowed to settle early, moved to the outside of rivals along the backstretch, chased two to three wide to the quarter marker, needed more into the stretch drive and finished evenly. DEVELOP PRODUCT allowed to settle in the early going, saved ground to the far turn and did not factor in the stretch drive. FRIOLENTO settled into the first turn, went up and chased the pace two wide along the backstretch, ran in pursuit into the far turn, could not muster the needed response to upper stretch and gave way in the final furlong.
