HIGH LIMIT ROOM broke alertly, showed good early speed and set a contested pace along the backstretch, shook free into the turn and set a solid pace to the quarter marker, drew clear to upper stretch, was kept to task into the final furlong and drew away in the late stages under mild urging. STAR OF THE BEAST took back off of the solid early pace, saved ground into the turn then angled three to four wide to upper stretch, produced a good rally into the final sixteenth, was no match late for the winner and held safely for second. SELECTO lost his path at the start and was off a step slowly, settled off of the solid early pace, roused two wide nearing the quarter marker, made a steady gain into the stretch, could not reel in the top pair late and closed in the final strides to earn the show. BAYTOWN PARFAIT was forwardly placed away from the start, chased the solid pace two to three wide heading to the turn, ran in pursuit into the stretch, could not muster a final response and was outfinished late for the show honors. NIC'S BRO was prominent in the early going, chased the pace while saving ground into the turn, was well placed to the quarter pole then ran in pursuit into the stretch, lacked the needed response to the final sixteenth and weakened late. ROLLING ON showed good speed away from the start, pressed the early pace along the backstretch, chased HIGH LIMIT ROOM into the turn, ran on into the stretch, could not find more into the final furlong and gave way late. READY FOR A FIGHT off a bit slowly leaving the start, settled off of the early pace, chased four wide to the quarter marker, could not find the needed response into the stretch and did not threaten late. ENSIGN PARKER broke awkwardly and spotted the field to begin, trailed into the turn, swung widest to upper stretch and did not factor in the late stages. SOUPER LEGACY settled off of the early pace, ran in pursuit three wide into the turn, could not find more to upper stretch and tired in the final furlong.
