Footnotes
LET'S DANCE AGAIN prominent away from the start, stalked the early pace from the inside and was well placed to the backstretch run, chased the pacesetter to the far turn then tipped out to the two path and bid for the lead at the quarter pole, took command to upper stretch and drew clear at the furlong marker, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held safely for the win at the wire. PLAGNE CHAMPAGNE rated just off of the early pace and was well placed to the first turn, tracked the decent pace to the half-mile marker, angled three then four wide nearing the quarter pole, chased LET'S DANCE AGAIN into upper stretch, was gaining on the winner late but could not reel in LET'S DANCE AGAIN and held well at the wire for second. LU'S REDEMPTION took back off of the decent early pace, was unhurried to the half-mile pole, saved ground to the far turn, tipped out to upper stretch then was set down for the drive, made a sustained rally to the final sixteenth, was gaining late and just missed for second, while just getting up in time for third. LISCA BIANCA took back off of the early pace, saved ground to the first turn, maintained an inside path while unhurried up the backstretch, inched closer along the far turn then angled three wide at the quarter marker, bid to upper stretch, chased LET'S DANCE AGAIN to mid-stretch, needed more in the final stages and was outkicked late. TRUMPETTA settled outside of rivals into the first turn, tracked the decent pace two to three wide and between rivals along the backstretch, navigated traffic to the far turn then was roused four wide at the quarter marker, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch and finished evenly. HIGHWAY HARMONY sent to contest the early pace, assumed command into the first turn, set a decent pace to the half-mile pole, led into the far turn then was confronted nearing the quarter marker, was overtaken to upper stretch, stayed on to the furlong pole then faded late. SMART STYLE hopped at the start and was off slowly, unhurried to the first turn, settled outside of rivals into the backstretch, chased four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, could not find the needed response to upper stretch and did not factor in the late stages. NOT GUILTY prominent early, was caught a bit in tight between rivals heading to the first turn, shifted out and stalked the pace two to three wide along the backstretch run, gave chase into the far turn, could not keep pace nearing the quarter pole, was eased through the stretch and walked off. SEEKINGBYTHESTORM settled in the second flight to begin, tracked the decent pace two to three wide heading to the half-mile pole, dropped back along the second turn, was eased through the stretch and walked off.
