MEET ME IN THE AIR broke alertly, assumed early command and set the pace up the backstretch, was pressured from the inside into the turn by LOIS' COURAGE, carved out a decent pace while off of the rail nearing the quarter pole, held LOIS' COURAGE at bay into upper stretch, dug in into the final furlong and held late over the oncoming runner-up. BELLA MENDY away in good order, settled just off of the early pace while not far back, chased three wide into the turn, ran in pursuit four wide into the stretch drive, rallied to the final sixteenth, surged in deep stretch and just missed for the win, while besting the rest. LOIS' COURAGE showed good speed away from the start, went up and pressed the pace from the inside heading into the turn, kept attendance to MEET ME IN THE AIR while inside of that rival nearing the quarter pole, fought on into the stretch, yielded into the final sixteenth and held safely for third. LITTLE TOWN STREET well placed in the early stages, got to the rail and tracked the pace from the inside heading into the turn, angled two then three wide to upper stretch, chased the leaders into the final sixteenth and lacked a late kick in deep stretch. STUBOLD was shuffled at the start and away a bit slowly, rushed up and chased the early pace outside of rivals, ran in pursuit four wide into the turn, lacked the needed response into upper stretch and flattened out in the drive. AVE FENIX settled off of the early pace, tracked two then three wide into the turn, swung four wide for the stretch drive, needed more in the late stages and finished evenly. MY SWEET ADALINE bobbled then was pinched back at the start and was off slowly, settled while saving ground into the turn, maintained an inside path to the stretch and did not factor late. FASHIONABLE KITTY settled off of the early pace, saved ground into the turn then shifted to the two path nearing the quarter marker, ran in pursuit into the stretch and did not rally late. MISCREANT got shuffled back at the start and was off slowly, settled outside of rivals in the early stages, was coaxed four wide to the quarter marker and did not threaten late. SWEET SASH got crowded at the start and was away a bit slowly, settled in the early stages, coaxed three to four wide along the turn, swung five wide to upper stretch and had no late response.
