HE'S A BEAST tracked the early pace from the inside, got caught a bit in tight between rivals approaching the turn and steadied nearing the seven-sixteenths marker, angled three wide along the bend and was roused heading to the quarter pole, loomed to upper stretch then battled NOBLE SKY into the final furlong, bested the stubborn runner-up in deep stretch and edged away in the final strides. NOBLE SKY was prominent away from the start, prompted the early pace then took command heading to the turn, showed the way to the quarter pole and met the bid of HE'S A BEAST into upper stretch, battled that rival into the final furlong, was turned away into the final sixteenth and was clear of the rest for second. WHEELHOUSE settled in the early going while not far back, tracked the pace to the turn then advanced three to four wide into the bend, chased from the two path nearing the quarter pole, ran in pursuit of the leading pair into the stretch, was not able to make headway on the top two late and was clear for third. BIG DIVIDEND unhurried in the early going, coaxed four wide along the turn, swung widest to upper stretch and passed tiring rivals late. COMPLETEEFFORT (IRE) allowed to settle, saved ground into the turn, shifted to the two path nearing the quarter marker, chased into upper stretch and lacked the needed late response. WORDONDASTREET settled off of the early pace while never far back, was well placed to the turn then could not keep pace into the bend, lost position three wide nearing the quarter pole and did not factor in the stretch drive. SOUPER DOCUMENT broke alertly and assumed early command, set a moderate pace along the backstretch run, was overtaken into the turn, could not keep pace heading to the top of the lane and gave way.
