Footnotes
CHROME GHOST tracked the early pace two wide and between rivals, stalked the pace from the three path and between foes into the turn, bid at the quarter marker then vied for the lead to upper stretch, took command into the final furlong, held PRACTICALLY DARK at bay into the final sixteenth and kept to task to the wire. PRACTICALLY DARK broke a step slow leaving the start but was away in good order, tracked the early pace from the inside, was well placed while saving ground into the turn then waited for racing room nearing the quarter marker, found a seam along the rail into upper stretch, was outkicked by CHROME GHOST into the drive and was clear of the rest for second. SOUPER QUEST vied for the lead away from the start then took early command, set a moderate pace to the quarter marker, left the rail open nearing the top of the lane and was overtaken at the three-sixteenths marker, yielded to the top pair into the drive and just held for third at the wire. SPEAK EASY hopped at the start and spotted the field leaving the gate, trailed into the turn, coaxed three wide to upper stretch, could not find the needed late response and missed for the show honors. MISH raced close up to the early pace while outside of rivals, tracked four wide into the turn and chased to the quarter marker, could not keep pace into upper stretch and tired in the drive.
