NO TIME TO WAIT was forwardly placed to the first turn, tracked the modest pace three deep into the backstretch, was well placed to the far turn then roused three wide nearing the quarter marker, took command to upper stretch, kicked clear into the final furlong and held sway late under hand urging. MUSCLE MAIDEN was away in good order, settled just behind the early leaders and was well placed while saving ground into the backstretch, chased the leaders into the far turn then angled three wide nearing the quarter marker, chased NO TIME TO WAIT into the stretch, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth but was a clear second best. STARLIGHT LUNA settled in the second flight to begin, coaxed three to four wide along the backstretch, angled in and chased the leaders into the far turn, was no match for the top pair into the stretch but ran on late to earn the show honors. SPIRIT OF JAMAICA close up in the early going, went up and prompted the pace outside of DREAM DIAMOND into the backstretch run, pressed that rival into the second turn then vied for the lead between rivals nearing the quarter pole, was outkicked into the stretch then weakened in the final stages. DREAM DIAMOND sent for the early lead, assumed command into the first turn then set a modest pace into the backstretch, showed the way from the inside into the far turn, was overtaken nearing the quarter marker, chased to mid-stretch and faded late. VALLEY OF DAWN got squeezed at the start and was off slowly, was unhurried to the backstretch, saved ground to the second turn and did not rally late. STARSHIP ORION hopped at the start and was away a bit slowly, settled between rivals and never far back early on, tracked the modest pace two wide and between foes along the backstretch, gave way into the second turn and could not muster a final response.
