CLEAR DESTINATION settled between rivals into the first turn, was well placed while tracking from the second flight along the backstretch, roused two then three wide nearing the quarter pole, vied for the lead to upper stretch then shifted to the five path approaching the furlong grounds, battled for the lead to the final sixteenth, took command in deep stretch and held well late over the oncoming runner-up. DIXIE PREACH was unhurried leaving the start, advanced into the first turn then continued a steady gain between rivals along the backstretch, weaved between foes into the far turn and bid three wide to upper stretch, rallied four deep to the furlong marker, closed willingly into the final sixteenth and just missed for the win at the wire, while besting the rest. SUNSHINE FROLIC settled while saving ground to the first turn, unhurried while not far back along the backstretch, navigated traffic into the far turn then bid two wide and between foes to upper stretch, dove to the inside and rallied to the furlong pole, was outkicked by the top pair in deep stretch and was clear in the end for third. LIGHT FURY broke alertly and was sent for the early lead, set a decent pace along the backstretch then showed the way into the far turn, drifted out to upper stretch, was overtaken into the final furlong and faded in deep stretch. VLADISLAV was forwardly placed while saving ground early on, tracked the decent pace along the backstretch run, tipped out and chased the pacesetter two wide nearing the quarter pole, battled into the stretch, got caught in tight into the final sixteenth and lacked the needed response in deep stretch. VINO SANTO was forwardly placed while outside of rivals early on, settled in the second flight and tracked the pace three deep heading to the half-mile pole, chased between rivals into the far turn, spun five wide to upper stretch, ran on to the final sixteenth and lacked a final response. THE HONEYMAN allowed to settle early on, trailed into the backstretch, saved ground to the far turn, advanced nearing the top of the lane then angled out for the stretch drive, could not sustain his run to the final sixteenth and flattened out late. HONESTO broke in at the start and was off a step slowly, settled outside of rivals into the first turn, advanced while widest along the backstretch run, chased six wide into the far turn, swung widest to upper stretch and did not rally late. RINGSIDE was forwardly placed while between runners to the first turn, took back and saved ground into the backstretch, chased from the inside heading into the far turn, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and weakened in the drive. GUILDENSTERN (IRE) settled three deep into the first turn, never far back while four wide along the backstretch run, lost position while between rivals into the far turn, could not find more into the stretch drive and did not threaten late. BATTLE OF DOVER was forwardly placed away from the start, tracked the decent pace two then three wide to the backstretch, gave chase into the far turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker, could not find more into the stretch drive and tired in the lane.
