Footnotes
TESSELLATE got crowded at the start and broke a step slowly, recovered then tracked the early leaders along the backstretch, stalked two then three wide into the turn and was given her cue approaching the quarter marker, took command to upper stretch and drew off nearing the furlong pole, widened the lead into the final sixteenth and was geared down late. LADY CHANCE settled off of the contested early pace, chased three wide into the turn, spun four wide to upper stretch and churned on into the final furlong, was no match for the winner late and was clear in the end for the place honors. DAKOTA'S LIL AUROR was bumped at the start, raced in tight early on and was shuffled back in the opening furlong, settled and trailed into the turn, advanced outside of rivals nearing the quarter marker, swung four to five wide to upper stretch, could not impact the top pair in the late stages but ran on to earn the show honors. EPIGRAM broke alertly and vied for the early lead from outside of rivals, engaged with LA DOLCE VITA and dueled that rival into the turn, disputed the decent pace along the bend then was overtaken nearing the quarter marker, chased TESSELLATE into upper stretch, could not keep pace with the winner into the drive, weakened in the late stages and was outfinished for third. NOUR raced in tight leaving the start then checked in the early going, settled off of the contested pace, chased two wide and between rivals heading into the turn, coaxed to upper stretch and did not offer a late response. MAKE YOUR WISH broke in at the start then settled off of the early pace, saved ground into the turn, maintained an inside path to the stretch and did not rally in the late stages. LA DOLCE VITA showed good early speed and vied for the lead leaving the gate, disputed the pace from the inside heading into the turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker, could not keep pace to upper stretch and came up empty in the drive.
