RACING DRIVER settled off of the early pace while never far back, saved ground into the turn then angled four wide to upper stretch, responded and made a sustained rally to the final furlong, surged in the final sixteenth and got up in the final yards for the win. BEASTLY SPEED broke alertly and vied for the early lead from between rivals, took back and tracked the dueling pacesetters heading into the turn, angled three wide along the bend and was roused at the quarter marker, rallied to mid-stretch then battled ACCELERIZE to the final sixteenth, was outfinished by the oncoming winner in deep stretch and was a clear second. ACCELERIZE bobbled a bit at the start but was away in good order and was sent to contest the early pace, engaged with CAMP EVANS and dueled outside of that rival heading into the turn, shook free of that rival at the quarter pole then led to upper stretch, met the bid of BEASTLY SPEED into the final furlong, was all out into the final sixteenth, yielded in deep stretch and was a clear third. CAMP EVANS went up to contest the early pace from the inside, engaged with ACCELERIZE and dueled for pace duties inside of that foe into the turn, lost position into upper stretch, chased the leaders to the furlong marker and weakened late. BROOKLYN GUY unhurried in the early going, saved ground to the turn, maintained an inside path to the stretch and advanced at the furlong pole, could not sustain that run late and flattened out. GOD'S TIMING prominent early while outside of rivals, tracked the pace to the turn then was well placed while three wide into the bend, chased four wide to the quarter pole, was outkicked to upper stretch and tired in the late stages. MCKELLEN forwardly placed early on, settled in the second flight along the backstretch, worked to the outside of rivals heading to the turn, chased four then five wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and came up empty late.
