MYSTICAL BELLE broke sharply and took command away from the start, was confronted along the inside by SPINELLI in the early stages, disputed the pace with that rival along the backstretch and dueled into the turn, continued that battle to upper stretch then took a narrow lead past the furlong marker, shook free of SPINELLI into the final sixteenth and edged clear late. SPINELLI broke in at the start, made contact with an inner rival and was off a bit slowly, was hustled in the early stages and disputed the pace from the inside along the backstretch, dueled inside of MYSTICAL BELLE into the turn, continued that battle into the stretch, grudgingly gave way in the final sixteenth and was a clear second. GOLDEN BEACH tracked the early pace from inside of rivals, saved ground to the turn and chased the leading pair to the quarter pole, angled out to upper stretch, lacked the needed final response in the drive but ran on late and got up at the wire for the show honors. DEE'S ON DOW chased the early pace from outside of rivals, ran in pursuit three wide into the turn, shifted to the two path at the quarter marker and ran on into the stretch, could not keep pace with the top pair into the final furlong and was outkicked late for the show honors. FIRE ON THE WIRE was forwardly placed early on while between runners, took back along the backstretch, tracked two wide and between foes into the turn, could not keep pace to the quarter marker and weakened in the drive. PRACTICALLY FAMOUS broke out then was bumped at the start and was off slowly, settled in the early running, roused four then five wide nearing the quarter marker, swung widest to upper stretch and could not muster the needed late response. ZOLENE got bumped at the start and was off a bit slowly, recovered and chased the pace three then four wide into the turn, was outkicked into the stretch and gave way in the late stages.
