SAMARITAN'S JOY broke alertly and was prominent away from the start, ceded the early lead and stalked the pace two wide to the turn, tracked BELLA'S BREEZE to the quarter marker then was roused to upper stretch, made a strong bid into the final furlong, overtook BELLA'S BREEZE into the final sixteenth and drew off while in hand in deep stretch. BELLA'S BREEZE sent to be prominent early, took command in the opening furlong and set the pace to the turn, carved out a decent pace to the quarter marker then held a clear lead to upper stretch, was overtaken by the winner past mid-stretch, could not keep pace with SAMARITAN'S JOY into the final sixteenth and stayed on well late to be second best. GOLDIE GLORY tracked the early pace from between rivals, chased two wide to the quarter marker, drifted out past the quarter pole and ran in pursuit three deep into upper stretch, was not able to make headway on the top pair late but stayed on to be a clear third. JUNEGENAI was well placed between rivals in the early going, raced greenly to the turn then trailed nearing the quarter marker, coaxed two wide to upper stretch, could not impact the leaders late and passed tiring rivals in the drive. GRENACHE settled between rivals in the early stages, ran in pursuit three wide heading to the quarter marker, got floated out and caught a bit in tight nearing the top of the lane, lacked the needed response to mid-stretch and did not rally late. JUST MAJESTIC chased the early pace from inside, ran in pursuit while saving ground into the turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker and did not threaten in the stretch drive. TOASTTOTHESTONES got crowded at the start and was off slowly, recovered and chased the pace from outside of rivals heading into the turn, ran in pursuit four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, could not find more into the stretch drive and weakened. BY MY DREAMS tracked the early pace from outside of rivals, ran in pursuit three wide into the turn, got caught a bit in tight between rivals nearing the top of the lane, could not keep pace to mid-stretch and tired in the final stages.
