WILL OF A WARRIOR settled in the early stages while never far back, tracked the moderate pace heading to the half-mile marker, coaxed three to four wide to the quarter marker then set down into upper stretch, confronted IL ALCHEMYSTA into the final furlong, wore down the game runner-up in deep stretch and won the nod on the wire to prevail. IL ALCHEMYSTA raced between rivals in the early stages then took back into the first turn, advanced while widest along the backstretch, loomed three wide into the far turn then took command to upper stretch, dug in into the final furlong and met the bid of WILL OF A WARRIOR to the final sixteenth, fought gamely to the wire and just missed for the win, while besting the rest. CRYPTONYM got squeezed a bit at the start and was allowed to settle in the early stages, was unhurried to the half-mile marker, roused outside of rivals into the far turn then rallied five to six wide to upper stretch, closed well into the final furlong, could not make headway on the top pair late and was clear for third. LAST RUN was prominent away from the start, raced close up to the early pace while saving ground into the first turn, tracked from the inside along the backstretch, ran in pursuit from the rail heading to the quarter pole, angled out to upper stretch then lacked the needed response in the final sixteenth. KUWAIT TOWERS vied for early command from between rivals, took the lead into the backstretch then set a moderate pace while prompted into the far turn, met oncoming bids heading to the quarter marker, was overtaken to upper stretch and faded in the final stages. MORAL AGENCY settled just off of the early pace and outside of rivals heading into the first turn, tracked the moderate pace three to four wide along the backstretch, gave chase to the quarter pole then spun five wide to upper stretch, could not find more at the furlong grounds and weakened. PROUD AMERICAN was forwardly placed while three wide to the first turn, went up and prompted the moderate pace along the backstretch, vied for the lead between rivals into the far turn, was outkicked to upper stretch then tired in the final furlong. SPONGE TIME close up in the early going, raced a bit in tight while inside of rivals then between foes into the first turn, tracked two to three wide and between runners along the backstretch, got shuffled back into the far turn then ran in pursuit to the quarter marker, trailed to upper stretch and gave way in the drive.
