Footnotes
TO THE EASTSIDE settled off of the early pace while never far back, tracked from the three path into the turn, roused four wide to the stretch, responded well in the drive, took command past mid-stretch and kept to task into the final sixteenth to prove best. WISTUCKY broke alertly then rated just off of the early pace, stalked three deep to the turn, went up and pressed three wide heading to the quarter marker, vied for the lead into upper stretch, could not match strides with the winner into the final sixteenth and bested the rest. THREE LITTLE BIRDS bobbled then was bumped at the start and was away a step slowly, was well placed in the early stages, tracked the pace while saving ground into the turn, rallied along the rail into upper stretch, was outkicked to the final sixteenth and got up in time to earn the show honors. BEAR CLAW NECKLACE hustled to vie for the early lead, took a narrow advantage along the backstretch then showed the way into the turn, set the pace to the quarter marker then drifted to the two path nearing the top of the stretch, led to the furlong grounds then was overtaken past mid-stretch, gave way in the late stages and just missed for third. LUCKY OLD SON prominent in the early running while between rivals, pressed the pace two deep into the turn, lost position into upper stretch and tired in the drive. BACK IN THE SADDLE settled off of the early pace, trailed into the turn and did not factor in the stretch drive.
