NEARLY was well placed away from the start, tracked the pace four deep approaching the turn, loomed at the three-eighths pole, took command and showed the way to upper stretch, drew off while kept to task into the final furlong and was ridden out late to win as much the best. GUS SWAYZE hopped then was shuffled at the start and was off slowly, recovered and tracked the pace from the second flight heading into the turn, advanced between rivals along the bend then chased NEARLY into the stretch, was no match for the winner into the stretch and held well late for second. FAR RIGHT bobbled at the start and was off slowly, lacked early speed and trailed heading to the turn, saved ground to the quarter marker then tipped two wide for the stretch drive, churned on in the stretch, could not reel in the runner-up late and was a clear third. DR. JEKYLL settled off of the early pace, ran in pursuit three then four wide nearing the quarter marker, passed tiring rivals into the stretch but could not threaten the leaders late. VALEN TIME was prominent away from the start, stalked the early pace from between rivals, pressed into the turn, gave way to upper stretch and could not find more in the late stages. ONLY THE LONELY took back off of the early pace, tracked outside of rivals heading to the turn, chased five wide to the quarter marker, got floated six wide to upper stretch and could not muster a late response. PLAYFUL PAL broke alertly, vied for the early lead then was sent to the front, set the pace from the inside heading into the turn, was overtaken at the three-furlongs pole, chased NEARLY into the stretch, could not find more into the final furlong and came up empty late. NOAHS PRIDE was forwardly placed in the early going, chased three deep along the backstretch, ran in pursuit between rivals into the turn, dropped back nearing the quarter marker and could not find more in the stretch.
