TINTA ROJA rated just off of the early leaders, tracked the moderate pace to the half-mile, roused three wide into the far turn, vied to upper stretch then dueled ONE OF ONE into the final furlong, took a narrow lead in deep stretch and dug in late to prevail. COMPASS RISES got caught a bit wide into the first turn then took back, was unhurried while saving ground along the backstretch, advanced along the inside nearing the quarter marker, weaved through foes to upper stretch and came within range into the final furlong, could not find the needed final response and just held for second at the wire. ONE OF ONE was forwardly placed to the first turn, went up and prompted the moderate pace along the backstretch, dueled LOVE MAMI LOVE into the far turn then vied between rivals into upper stretch, met the bid of TINTA ROJA into the final furlong, fought gamely to deep stretch and was outfinished late for the win and place, while holding for the show honors. MORE THAN GLORY settled into the first turn, shifted to the outside of rivals along the backstretch run, chased three deep into the far turn then ran in pursuit into the stretch, responded well in the final furlong but could not reel in the top three in deep stretch. SUNROOF settled two then three wide into the first turn, coaxed along while widest heading to the half-mile pole, advanced four then three wide into the far turn, angled widest for the stretch drive, closed well late but came up short in the final stages. LOVE MAMI LOVE vied for the early lead between rivals, took command into the first turn, set a prompted pace along the backstretch, dueled ONE OF ONE into the far turn, battled into the stretch, could not keep pace into the final furlong and faded in the drive. PLAY FREE BIRD settled while saving ground into the first turn, shifted out and tracked between rivals along the backstretch, lost position into the second turn, chased three to four wide to upper stretch, could not find the needed response at the furlong pole and weakened late. SALS DREAM GIRL settled off of the early pace while never far back, tracked the moderate pace three wide along the backstretch, chased two wide into the far turn, could not keep pace at the quarter pole and faltered in the stretch.
