UNCLE'S GOLD broke a step slowly and settled to the first turn, saved ground along the backstretch, inched closer into the far turn, waited for racing room at the quarter marker then angled three wide to upper stretch, responded well into the final furlong, took command into the final sixteenth and kept to task in the late stages. INSPEIGHTOFCHARLIE settled just off of the early pace and tracked between rivals into the backstretch, bid two wide and between foes to the far turn, vied for the lead at the quarter marker then battled DUTY into the stretch, was overtaken by the winner into the final sixteenth and edged DUTY in the final strides to earn the place honors. DUTY broke alertly and set the pace to the first turn, was confronted into the backstretch by REPLEVIN and disputed the pace inside of that rival heading to the half-mile, shook free of that foe into the far turn then met the bid of INSPEIGHTOFCHARLIE at the quarter pole, battled that runner into the stretch, was outkicked by the winner into the final sixteenth, just missed at the wire for second and was well clear in the end for third. SHOTGUN settled in the second flight early on, tracked the pace three wide into the backstretch, chased into the far turn then spun four wide to upper stretch, was outkicked to the furlong grounds and could not find the needed late response. REPLEVIN was forwardly placed to the first turn, vied for the lead between rivals then contested the pace two wide into the backstretch, pressed three deep into the far turn, lost position to upper stretch and weakened in the drive. ELEVEN BRAVO was forwardly placed while four wide to the first turn, tracked the moderate pace while outside of rivals along the backstretch, lost position four wide into the far turn then gave way in the drive. COMPLETE RESPONSE settled three deep into the first turn, was unhurried up the backstretch, trailed into the far turn and did not factor in the drive.
