BEYOND BELIEF vied for the early lead then rated just off of the pace, stalked three wide to the turn, bid and took command approaching the quarter pole, led to upper stretch and kept to task into the final furlong, held sway to the final sixteenth and proved best in the late stages. JUST A PHILLY was prominent away from the start, contested the early pace from inside of PALM DESERT, dueled into the turn then was overtaken by BEYOND BELIEF nearing the quarter marker, chased that rival into the stretch, tipped out into the final furlong, was outkicked in the final sixteenth and held safely for the place. PUCKERED unhurried early, trailed into the turn then was roused two wide at the quarter marker, made a sustained rally into the stretch, closed well along the rail into the final furlong, could not reel in the leading pair late but got up in time to earn the show honors. FANTASTIC FLAME took back off of the contested early pace, tracked between rivals heading into the turn, angled out at the quarter marker then chased five wide to upper stretch, closed willingly in the late stages but could not reel in the leaders in deep stretch. PALM DESERT vied for the early lead from between rivals, went up and disputed the pace outside of JUST A PHILLY along the backstretch, dueled that rival into the turn, battled between rivals along the bend then was overtaken nearing the quarter marker, was outkicked into the stretch then yielded in the late stages. STREET VIEW settled off of the early pace while never far back, tracked while widest along the backstretch, coaxed five wide into the turn, swung six wide to upper stretch, chased to the furlong grounds and lacked the needed late response. ROYAL POPPY was forwardly placed early on while between rivals, tracked four wide into the turn and advanced nearing the quarter marker, was outkicked to upper stretch then gave way in the final furlong. SUNNA tracked the early pace three deep and between rivals, advanced into the turn and chased to the quarter marker, ran in pursuit into the stretch, could not find more into the final furlong and weakened. SUNSET HARBOUR tracked the early pace from the inside, saved ground to the turn then was outrun to the quarter marker, trailed to upper stretch and tired in the drive.
