THIRTY POUND TEST broke a step slowly but recovered to track the early leaders from the outside, pressed the pace three deep into the turn then took command nearing the quarter marker, held off foes into the stretch, dug in into the final sixteenth and proved best in deep stretch. DOGWOOD CROSSING was sent to contest the early pace from inside of rivals, disputed the pace into the turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker, angled three wide to upper stretch and re-bid into the lane, challenged THIRTY POUND TEST into the final sixteenth, was kept at bay by the winner in deep stretch and held safely for second. FIGHTING WORDS raced close up to the early pace, took back and stalked the leaders heading to the turn, chased three then four wide nearing the top of the lane, battled while within range into the final furlong, was outkicked into the final sixteenth and was a clear third. BLAZING TYREEK showed good early speed, disputed the pace between rivals heading up the backstretch, pressed between foes into the turn, chased from the inside at the quarter marker then got put in tight at the top of the stretch, angled out at the furlong grounds, chased to the final sixteenth but faded in deep stretch. VINICIO settled off of the early pace, saved ground to the turn, tracked the leaders to the quarter marker then angled out to upper stretch, ran in pursuit while widest nearing the furlong grounds and could not find the needed late response. LAST SHALL B FIRST hopped then was bumped at the start and was off a bit slowly, lacked early speed, trailed to the quarter marker and did not factor in the stretch drive.
