After payment of 1% to all owners of horses finishing sixth through last, 62% of the remainin g purse shall be paid to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, and 3% to fifth. Weight: 122 lbs. Non-winners of a stakes on turf allowed 2 lbs.; a race other than maiden, claiming, starter or state bred allowance, 4 lbs. Allf ees shall be paid prior to the start of the race. Preference will be given to stakes winners, stakes placed then by highest career earnings. Trophy to the winning owner. SISTER TROIENNE was bumped at the break, then was rated along three to four wide while in the clear, made a three to four wide bid leaving the quarter pole and took over nearing the furlong marker and drew clear to prove best under mild right handed crop urging. DAY TO DAY was three wide into the first turn and then went on to set a pressured pace two wide and then shook clear while in the two path down the backside, was headed leaving the quarter pole and into the lane and relented the lead nearing the furlong marker and could not go with the winner while keeping on for the place award. R SLEW OF CASH was rated along early towards the inside, then was coxed along and ridden along by the five sixteenths and roused by the quarter pole, swung out three wide but had no late kick while besting the rest. AMBERGLEN (IRE) was allowed to settle along the inside, then was coaxed along two wide by the three eighths marker while behind a couple of foes but was one pace, came two wide off the bend but lacked the needed rally while improving position. BACKGAMMON led into the first turn while in the two path, then relented to press the pace from the inside, moved out entering the backstretch to stalk the leader three wide, between rivals leaving the three eights marker and in the two path, angled out leaving the turn and weakened. SLIPPERS was allowed to settle early three wide, then was ridden along to keep up three to four wide on the far turn and tired in the lane. DEVILISH GRIN bumped with the winner at the break, settled back early and trailed, three wide by the quarter pole but never threatened.
