BRONZE BULLET was rated along early and moved out entering the backstretch to stalk the leaders from the outside, made a four wide sweep on the turn to vie for command before taking over and moving in to the three path leaving the turn, moved out nearing the furlong marker and then was guided in to herd the late closing GLORIOUS BOY bumping that rival and then exchanged more bumps nearing the wire while finishing on even terms. GLORIOUS BOY was bumped at the break and then guided to the inside while settling into stride, advanced two to four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the lane, moved in nearing the furlong marker and rallied well and was bumped leaving the sixteenth marker and then exchanged bumps nearing the wire while getting up to finish on even terms for the win. A MILLION DREAMS pressed the pace two wide and then was in between rivals and shuffled out leaving the five sixteenth and fell back, then came again in the final furlong to gain the show award. SHIPMATE set a pressured pace on the inside and was headed by the five sixteenth battled on to the quarter pole vying for command but faded in the lane losing the show award late. BEHOLD THE KING stalked the early pace and made a three wide bid on the far turn to vie for command in between rivals but weakened in the drive. SUNRISE bumped at the start and reserved early while trailing, two wide by the quarter pole but lacked a rally. CHALKY WHITE was allowed to settle three wide, three to four wide on the far turn and came five wide into the lane but lacked a rally. STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the stretch run, also the rider on number five GLORIOUS BOY lodged an OBJECTION against the number two BRONZE BULLET for interference inside the furlong grounds, after the STEWARDS reviewed the replays the disqualified BRONZE BULLET from a dead heat win and placed him second.
