MINTY set the early pace moving towards the inside while under a good hold, well handled throughout and shook clear leaving the turn and then held well to the wire to prove best under a drive. LA CANTERA (IRE) was well rated along the inside, angled out nearing the furlong marker and bumped slightly with TURINO and threw head then ran on well but could not gain on the winner while being second best. WORLD TRAVELER was in between rivals into the first turn and reserved early, moved out and advanced four to five wide on the far turn and came six wid einto the lane and rallied. ZO ZUCCHERA chased the pace from the outside and was three to four wide on the far turn and had no kick while racing one paced. TURINO prompted the winner three to two wide and made a bid nearing the quarter pole, then was bumped slightly by the furlong marker and faded. STARSHIP MELODY was allowed to settle along the inside, two wide on the far turn and had no rally. READING TIME tracked the pace and was in between rivals by the three eighths marker and weakened. FREE TO ROAM was reserved early on the inside, two to four wide on the far turn and swung out six wide leaving the turn but lacked a solid rally. PERKY was reserved early three wide and then was two to three wide on the far turn but never threatened.
