ZUCCHERO set the pace along the rail, shook clear in upper stretch, drifted out under left handing through the lane and held safe. WESEEULATOR settled off the pace while racing two wide, went three wide around the far turn, swung six wide turning for home and finished well to gain the place. NICKEL C saved ground up close, tipped out in upper stretch and finished evenly for the show. CHEMICAL ROMANCE hit the starting gate, saved ground off the pace, tipped two wide nearing the quarter pole, made progress inside in upper stretch and flattened out a bit in the final furlong. SKIP FORWARD (JPN) was off a step slowly, raced in range three wide, switched back to the left lead in midstretch and lacked a closing bid. BEST ARTIST was pulling early, raced off the pace three and four wide and lacked a rally. UNREACHABLE STAR pressed the winner two wide and weakened in the lane. THREE CHEERS was outrun inside. GOLD MINER was in tight at the start and trailed inside.
