AMELIA tracked the leaders two wide and made a three wide bid nearing the quarter pole, hit the front nearing the furlong marker and drew away to prove best under a drive. LILYS BACK was allowed to settle early on the inside, moved out by the three eighths marker and came three wide into the lane, ran on in the lane splitting rivals by the sixteenth marker gaining the place but had to settle for being second best. SOUFFLE ON FIRE was rated along on the outside and in the three path, made a four wide run by the quarter pole and into the lane but flattened out while staying on for the show award. STARSHIP ASPEN was rated along the inside and then continued on the inside entering the far turn, moved out to the two path to go by the tiring early pace setter and then moved back to the inside in the lane but had no kick. PASS FAILED steadied briefly shortly after the break, then was hard held in between rivals on the first turn, continued on two to three wide on the far turn and made a run nearing the quarter pole under coaxing, then was in tight nearing the furlong marker and steadied nearing the sixteenth marker and then angled out late, weakened. IN FACT SHEZA ZASK pressed the pace and made a two wide bid to shake clear by the quarter pole but was headed nearing the furlong marker and weakened. ILITHYIA set a pressured pace on the inside and gave way leaving the five sixteenths.
