Footnotes
CRUISE THE NILE set a rated pace along the rail, shook clear turning for home and widened while ridden out. LIMITED EDITION stalked the pace from the rail, could not match strides with the winner in upper stretch but finished willingly to narrowly gain the place. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE bumped at the start, prompted the winner two wide, could not keep pace with the winner while urged along nearing the quarter pole but kept on through the lane to save a slice between foes. BESSAMAY bumped at the start, raced off the pace three wide, moved five wide around the far turn and flattened out a bit in the lane. GALLANT LAD steadied along two wide through the opening half, continued two wide around the far turn and lacked the needed rally. STOMPIN GRAPES failed to menace while racing two and three wide. SHOTGUN bumped at the start, raced well back two wide and passed tiring rivals. MORTAL LOCK saved ground off the pace, went three wide around the far turn and never threatened. CANT STOP MUNNINGS chased the pace three and four wide and faded through the stretch. UP FOR AN OSCAR raced four wide around the first turn, moved up three wide between foes around the far turn but came up empty in the drive. HIGHLANDS WAY had his head turned at the start and made little impact while racing two and three wide. GOLD OF MCKENZIE hesitated at the start, saved ground and was no factor.
