Footnotes
DOGWOOD CROSSING was reserved early towards the inside, made a two to three wide run on the turn and came five wide off the bend and closed with good energy to get up inside the sixteenth marker and edged away to prove best, driving. FEELING MACHO set the pace on the inside and then turned back the bid from EL GUTY to be clear again by the furlong marker but was caught leaving the sixteenth marker and then held the place award late. EL GUTY stalked the pace and made a two wide bid on the turn but flattened out nearing the furlong marker and then just missed the place award. IMAPEPPA was allowed to settle along the inside, moved by the three eighths marker and then back in to the rail and then advanced on the inside by the quarter pole and cut the corner leaving the bend and finished well on the inside. FIGHTING WORDS was settled back early, made a two to four wide run by the quarter pole and came six wide off the bend and had some late kick. FINAL DRAMA chased the pace two to three wide and had no rally. MILO chased the pace three wide and made a mild bid two wide by the five sixteenths but then came up empty in the drive.
