FOUR BEACH FRIENDS dueled at the rail, kicked clear in upper stretch, drifted out under left-handed urging and brushed EL MUHEET late and just lasted. EL MUHEET saved ground in range, tipped out in upper stretch, rallied outside, was herded out and brushed by FOUR BEACH FRIENDS through the final sixteenth and just missed. FREEDOM STREET broke a step slowly, advanced three wide around the turn, bid near the quarter pole, continued on the left lead in the lane, weakened and held for the show. BERNARDO'S LEGACY bumped with HILLBILLY BOB at the start, disputed the pace two wide and faded in the lane. EL RABANO bumped at the start, raced well back two wide, swung out in the stretch and never threatened. HILLBILLY BOB bumped at the start, was rank down the backstretch, raced three wide around the turn and lacked a closing bid. WHISKYTANGODISCO bumped at the start, raced three wide and made little impact. THE GREAT EMPIRE had early speed between foes and steadily faded. FOLLOWING AN INQUIRY AND AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF EL MUHEET, FOUR BEACH FRIENDS WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED SECOND FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH.
