BATTLE OF DOVER stalked the pace from the outside and then went up to press the pace and made a three wide bid on the turn to vie for command and then dueled with WALTER ME LAD off the bend while four wide and had a long drive with that rival and prevailed to prove best. WALTER ME LAD dueled for the lead two wide and then was in between rivals by the three eighths marker and then dueled to the inside of the winner leaving the quarter pole, came three wide off the bend and dug in gamely but missed. FRANK'S ART was allowed to settle early, advanced two wide on the far turn and then moved to the inside leaving the bend and finished well up the inside. ROCK THE STARS was bumped at the start, reserved early, moved out to make a three to four wide run on the far turn, came five wide off the bend and had a good late rally but needed more. HONESTO chased the pace and was three wide on the far turn and came four wide off the bend but had no late kick. PET MAT tracked the early pace and then was in between rivals on the far turn and came three wide off the bend but lacked the needed winning bid. LOOKIN FOR ROSES was reserved early, came five wide into the lane but lacked the needed rally. DOWNING STREET was off a half a step slow and bumped at the start, settled back on the inside and made a three wide run by the quarter pole but lacked a rally. VINO SANTO tracked the pace on the inside and tired. LIGHT FURY set a pressured pace and then dueled for the lead on the inside and gave way by the five sixteenths marker and stopped.
