DRUM ROLL pressed the pace while in hand two wide, made a two wide bid on the far turn to draw clear by the quarter pole and then drew out leaving the turn and was kept to mild pressure to prove best. WORLD TRAVELER tracked the pace along the inside and then started a two wide bid when the pace setter began to give way, steadied in tight between rivals leaving the five sixteenths, then quickly got back to launching a bid and swung out four wide leaving the turn and ran on willingly to the wire holding off the fast closing FISH MOONEY for the place award. FISH MOONEY was reserved early making to the inside, then moved closer by the half mile marker, continued to save ground on the far turn and moved off the inside nearing the quarter pole and swung out six wide leaving the turn and closed the gap fast late gaining the show award and just missing the place award. MORE THAN GLORY was allowed to settle early on the inside, then was in between rivals by the half mile marker, then began her run nearing the five sixteenths but had to steadied leaving the five sixteenths briefly, then moved to the inside leaving the turn and had a mild kick on the inside but needed more. ALTA CALIBRE was rated along the outside and made a three wide move on the far turn and moved to the two path nearing the quarter pole and flattened out. TINTA ROJA was settled early on the outside and made a four wide run on the far turn but weakened in the drive. FLORIBUNDA set a pressured pace on the inside but gave way at the five sixteenths marker.
