SPUNOUTOFMYMIND contested the early lead about the two or three path inside rivals, edged clear in the turn, dueled through the lane and prevailed by the narrowest of margins at the wire. ROMAN EAGLE moved up to challenge turning for home, dueled the winner through the lane and just missed on the wire. SKELLY ROAD bobbled at the break with an awkward step, moved three to five wide in the turn to have aim but could not close the gap late while gaining the show. BIG COUNTRY BOY contested the early lead four wide and came up empty in the drive to lose position late. WANTABE saved ground and failed to threaten. MITOLA contested the early lead outside rivals and weakened.
