Footnotes
SWIFT N TRAFFIC tracked the early leaders three and four wide to bid into the far turn, showed in front and steadied to avoid a riderless about the quarter pole, dueled outside foes through the lane and was up by the narrowest of margins. SEARCHIN SAFARI gained a short lead early about the two to three path, resisted the winner to duel inside that one through the lane and just missed on the wire. SUMMER ALL YEAR saved ground back off the early pace, came to the rail in the lane to close ground and just missed late. SARAH'S BOY BLUE forced the pace inside rivals early, dropped back into the lane and pulled up bleeding outwardly. BRIGGSEY had the gate fail to open on time and charged, unseating the rider, went riderless around the track. Following a stewards inquiry, BRIGGSEY was declared a non-starter due to the gate not opening properly.
