TEXAS CREED settled just behind the dueling leaders down the backstretch, ranted up three-wide to bid for the lead approaching quarter pole while being confidently handled, responded when roused at the top of the stretch, opened up and held clear to the wire. CHEATING HEART settled mid-pack early, moved up closer midway through the turn, then found best stride in the final furlong and rallied to gain the place. DR SKYSCRAPER dueled two-wide with OBVOIUS CONCLUSION through the early stages, left that rival behind passing the three-furlong pole, got a new challenge from TEXAS CREED approaching the quarter, could not go on with that one and weakened in the final furlong to get passed for second. POLLITO TITO settled three-wide near the back early, moved closer on the turn, then was outkicked in the final furlong. OBVIOUS CONCLUSION dueled inside of DR SKYSCRAPER through the early stages, weakened with about three furlongs to go, and was outrun through the stretch. BRADIX was a little slow to begin, saved ground, but lacked a rally. ROCKY ROCK IT lacked any early interest and was six-wide and last to the turn, continued wide through the turn, and was not a factor in the late stages.
