CRUEL lacked speed, was patiently handled down the backstretch, moved up outside horses on the far turn, swung wide at the head of the lane, took command inside the eighth pole then drew away. LOOKATTHATGIRLRUN accelerated to the early lead, set the pace along the inner rail, drifted out in upper stretch and tired late. RITZY MISCHIEF accelerated to the early lead, set the pace along the inner rail, drifted out in upper stretch and tired late. SUGAR HILL , three wide on both turns while stalking the pace, was well positioned turning for home and weakened in the drive. INTO SENSE stayed along the inner rail around the first turn, was no factor and dropped back. K K'S FIRST DANCE chased the leader to the stretch and faltered.
