Footnotes
CAFE AU LAIT was well-placed three-wide into the first turn, pressed the pace down the backstretch, responded when set down at the quarter pole, took a short lead at the top of the stretch and held safe through the lane, holding off a deterined rival on the outside. AIRO DINERO was unhurried and allowed to settle at the back of the field through the first half, launched a bid with three furlongs to run, came four wide for the lead at the top of the stretch, chased CAFE AU LAIT to the wire but could not narrow the gap while finishing well clear of the next horse. UTSIRA went three-wide through the clubhouse turn, settled mid-pack two-deep down the backstretch, made a mild bid on the far turn, responded to hard urging in the stretch and move up to gain the minor award. SHE'S A GOLD LADY was sent forward from the outside post, gained a share of the lead coming out of the first turn, but was a bit keen, with the rider trying to temper the pace, was still with the leaders leaving the quarter pole, then weakened a bit in the stretch and was outfinished. OLIVIA'S RACE DAY settled mid-pack on the inside early, was close up to the quarter pole, then weakened and faded in the stretch. FLYIN WITHTHE BOSS could not keep up after a half and was not persevered with in the stretch when hopelessly behind.
