ROMAN EAGLE tracked the pace close up to the far turn, slipped through inside and took command in upper stretch and held well clear to the wire. BIG BANG BOOM settled near the rear, then chased ROMAN EAGLE down the stretch while four wide and closed willingly. GO LANG tracked close up in mid-pack, then kept on well in the stretch to outlast the rest of the field to take the third prize. CRUZIN FOR GURLS trailed the field through the first half-mile, then was mildly gaining in the later stages while never a serious threat. FAIR WEATHER FLYER settled in the middle of the pack, then lacked a finish. RANGER TOWN dueled with PREACHERMAN through the early stages, gave way on the far turn and had little left for the stretch run. PREACHERMAN dueled with RANGER TOWN then tired in the stretch.
