Footnotes
BERGHEIM tracked the pace in hand outside rivals down the back stretch, upped the tempo took aim three wide around the second bend, on even terms approaching the quarter pole, kicked away through the finals sixteenth. KING ADOLIS saved ground off the pace, picked up the pace circled the field four wide leaving the quarter pole, chased on willingly to secure the place award. SINGING DIXIE slow into stride, trailer off the rail into the far turn, bid five deep into the lane, rallied late to nail down the show. FLYING TEX tracked the pace along the rail into the far turn, angled out three wide into the lane, had no late punch. MIDNIGHT HUMOR broke sharp, set the pace just off the rail into the far turn, collared leaving the quarter pole, faded through the final sixteenth. CLOUDY PAST away in good order, tracked the pace between runners into the far turn, under pressure leaving the three eighths marker, gave way through the stretch.
