BAYOU BOY settled in mid-pack to the inside, moved up closer heading into the far turn, then had to steady briefly behind the tiring ECHO MARINE, made the lead in upper stretch, and kept in a steady drive to hold off a bid from a closing rival on the outside. FLY RED BIRD FLY got pinballed after the start, then caught four-wide into the first turn, advanced on the backstretch run, remained wide through the far turn, then put in a good finish, was closing the gap on BAYOU BOY in the final yards, but ran out of time. MUCHO MACHO CAM was hustled out of the gate but was outrun to the first bend, pressed the pace three-wide down the backstretch, was set down approaching the three-furlong pole, then under a full-out drive into the stretch, finished willingly, but was outkicked in the final yards. BRADIX had good speed from the start, seized the early advantage without really being asked, set the pace with ECHO MARINE a constant shadow to the far turn, disposed of that rival with three-furlongs to go, kicked on to leadinto the stretch, then weakened in the final furlong. MORO LEGEND settled at the back early, made a mild forward move through the turn, but flattened out in the stretch and could not threaten. ECHO MARINE pressed the early pace two-wide through the first half-mile, then weakened on the far turn, stopped, and was galloped out to the finish line and walked off.
