Footnotes
GO GO BOSS vied for the early lead then ceded the front into the first turn, stalked the decent pace while saving ground along the backstretch, made a rail bid into the far turn and vied at the quarter pole, battled HEAVENVILLE into the stretch, shook free of that rival leaving the furlong pole and drew clear past mid-stretch, kept to task in the final stages and held safely at the wire. TIBURON got squeezed a bit at the start and was off a step slowly, unhurried to the backstretch run, advanced nearing the quarter marker then weaved through rivals into the stretch, closed willingly in the late stages, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and held for second. ONTHESTAGE allowed to settle early and trailed to the half-mile marker, saved ground into the far turn and advanced nearing the quarter marker, rallied along the inside into the stretch, finished well in the final sixteenth and just missed for second. HEAVENVILLE contested the early pace from between rivals then took command into the first turn, set a moderate pace to the half-mile marker, dictated terms two wide into the far turn then met the bid of GO GO BOSS at the quarter pole, dueled that rival to mid-stretch, was turned away into the final furlong and yielded in the late stages. GUITAR BOY settled just off of the early leaders, tracked the pace two to three wide along the backstretch run, was well placed to the far turn then swung four wide to upper stretch, ran in pursuit into the stretch and could not muster the needed late response. MALIBU S S raced close up to the early pace, stalked the moderate pace three wide to the backstretch, was well placed to the far turn and chased HEAVENVILLE three wide approaching the quarter pole, was outkicked to upper stretch then flattened out in the final stages.
