CARLY'S SHANCE broke slowly and was allowed to settle early on, made a steady advance while saving ground into the turn, angled three wide leaving the quarter marker and loomed to upper stretch, vied for the lead and took command into the final furlong, kept to task into deep stretch and held safely over the oncoming runner-up. LEILA MAE settled in the second flight away from the gate, tracked two wide into the turn, paused while in a bit tight between foes nearing the quarter marker, swung four wide to upper stretch, finished well through the lane, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and was a clear second best. INVASION GIRL forwardly placed away from the start, contested the early pace three deep along the backstretch run, dueled two wide into the turn and battled MARE'S MUSIC to the quarter marker, overtaken into upper stretch, could not keep pace with the top pair past mid-stretch but kept on to be a clear third. MARE'S MUSIC raced close up to the early pace, vied for the lead between foes along the backstretch run then dueled inside of INVASION GIRL heading into the turn, disputed the pace to the quarter pole, could not keep pace to upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. TRUTAP settled off of the early pace and was widest along the backstretch run, coaxed three to four wide into the turn, lacked the needed response nearing the quarter pole and did not factor in the stretch drive. CHERRY RED broke alertly, showed good early speed and vied inside of rivals along the backstretch run, pressed into the turn then dropped back along the bend, could not find more into upper stretch and faltered in the drive. MO TA settled in the second flight leaving the start, tracked the early pace from between rivals, outrun into the turn, trailed into the stretch and came up empty in the final stages.
