Footnotes
CAFEZINHO broke alertly and assumed early command, showed the way to the first turn then controlled the pace to the backstretch, carved out decent fractions into the far turn, responded into the stretch and dug in into the final furlong, kept the runner-up at bay in deep stretch and held sway to the wire. RUBY CANTU forwardly placed in the early going, stalked the decent pace while saving ground into the backstretch, chased CAFEZINHO two wide and between rivals nearing the quarter marker then ran in pursuit into the stretch, could not reel in the winner in the final sixteenth and bested the rest. MISSINGYOUCRAZY raced close up to the early pace, tracked three wide to the first turn then shifted to the rail along the backstretch run, bid along the inside into the far turn and battled into upper stretch, could not muster the needed final response but was clear in the end for third. KAUSE I'M DEVINE allowed to settle in the early stages, roused three wide into the far turn, angled in into upper stretch and chased the leaders nearing the furlong pole, needed more in the final sixteenth and made a mild late bid. PUT A ROCK ON IT settled in the second flight to begin, was well placed while four wide to the backstretch, chased the pace three wide into the far turn, ran in pursuit into the lane, was outkicked to mid-stretch and gave way in the final stages. CHATON ROUGE took back and saved ground to the first turn, was unhurried to the half-mile, advanced into the far turn, angled three wide nearing the quarter marker and chased into upper stretch, could not muster the needed response in the drive but improved position late. TAKE MY PICTURE threw her head at the start and was off awkwardly leaving the gate, spotted the field to begin and settled to the first turn, coaxed two to three wide along the backstretch run, ran in pursuit to the quarter pole then swung four wide to upper stretch, could not threaten the leaders in the final furlong and passed tiring rivals late. MCKINZIE RIVER broke a step slowly and was allowed to settle early on, coaxed two to three wide along the backstretch, got caught a bit in tight between rivals into the far turn, trailed to upper stretch and did not factor in the final stages. RADIO GOO GOO tracked the early pace from the second flight, was well placed while saving ground to the first turn, maintained an inside path to the half-mile, lacked the needed response into the far turn and gave way in the stretch. TAPIT FIRST prominent away from the start, tracked the early pace two to three wide to the backstretch, lost position nearing the half-mile pole, dropped back along the far turn, was eased through the lane and walked off.
