NOW HEAR THIS sent for the early lead, assumed command and showed speed to the turn, controlled the pace to the quarter marker then drew off into the lane, was ridden out in the late stages and won as much the best. ITTY BITTY BABY hopped at the break and was last away from the gate, settled in the early going then advanced into the turn, navigated traffic to upper stretch then split foes into the final furlong, could not impact the winner in the final sixteenth but stayed on late and earned the place honors. PAROLA SICURA settled in the early stages, coaxed outside of rivals heading to the turn, swung five to six wide to upper stretch, made a mild rally through the lane and just missed for second, while clear of the rest for third. LUMINA broke a step slowly but was away in good order, tracked the decent early pace from the inside, was well placed while saving ground to the turn, chased from the inside into upper stretch, lacked the needed response in deep stretch and was outfinished for the minor awards. HOT PINK broke alertly and was close up to the early pace while outside of rivals, tracked three wide to the turn, spun four wide into the lane, got outkicked to upper stretch and gave way in the final stages. MAYBE SO was prominent away from the gate while between rivals, chased the pace two wide and between foes into the turn, lacked the needed response when called upon into upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong.
